Went to the game last night and was proud to see Lonoke pound Bald Knob 28-0. I don't understand why Coach Bost doesn't play the subs. It's really discouraging to these kids that have worked hard all summer and fall and they don't play a single snap in a 28-0 blowout. Anyone else notice this?

im srry to say that that night coach bost wouldnt have let n e second team players play for the fact that they played the best team in their conference.....bost is trying to prove their place on the field but the players will get to play next week proly if they get a good lead

You cant really call it a blow out!! Against this bald knob team!! They could have scored three touchdowns alone in the fourth quarter!! Bost told me that he shouldnt have called that last play that went for 80!! But yea i do agree with ya there!! But i was just glad to see lonoke pull off the upset!!

It's not just this game. There have been several games where he could play the 2nd team. The problems will come in the future. A lot of these kids won't mature physically until the 11th or 12th grade, and probably won't even be playing football at that time. If I'm riding the pine every game as a 9th grader, I doubt very seriously I'm going to play in HS. You've got to throw them a bone every once in a while. If you lose them now, it's hard to get them back later.

yea i agree on that but these kids would rather win than have an upset by a loss alone

Winning is always first and foremost with me. That is not the problem. The problem is when you are WAY ahead, put some 2nd teamers in. I was at the game it wasn't that close. Lonoke had much better athletes. As they have in most of their games this year. The kids would rather win, no debating that.
