Lake Village, Ark: It was a cool brisk night down in Chicot county Friday night as the Bauxite Miners 8-0 (5-0) rolled into town undefeated and eventually 2 1/2 hours would roll out of town under the same circumstances.
Lake Village would strike first off a run from HB Rontez Kennedy from 14 yards out to put the Beavers up 6-0, the 2 Pt Conversion would fail @ the 5:31 mark to go in the 1st Quarter
The Miners would strike quickly after with a 47 yard run from Senior HB Justin Metzger, PAT was good to put the Miners ontop 8-6 with 2:58 to go in the 1st Quarter.
End of First

Bauxite would strike again with QB Neely Sullivent Pulling off his famous "Kneely Neely" Bootleg from 15 yards out to put the Miners up 16-6 at the 8:01 mark in the 2nd Quarter
Beavers would strike again with once again Rontez Kennedy would strike from 53 yards out, 2 Pt Conversion would be no good with 5:26 to go in the half.
Bauxite would strike right back within 2 minutes with a pass from QB Neely Sullivent to HB Justin Metzger from 32 yards out to put the Miners up 24-12 for the halftime score
Halftime:
Bauxite - 20
Lake Village - 12
The second half would prove to be all Miners as the Lake Village Beavers would go scoreless the entire 2nd half and with only 2 First Downs (One of them off a penality)
Bauxite would score with 4:14 mark in the 3rd Quarter as HB Justin Metzger would run in from 41 yards out to put the score at 32-12,
Once again Bauxite HB Justin Metzger would run it in from 36 yards out at the 6:36 mark of the 4th quarter to put the miners up 40-12 and that would end the scoring summary
Statistics:
The Miners rushed 46 times for 436 yards, went 2-3 passing for 57 yards and had no Turnovers
The Beavers rushed 37 times for 176 yards, went 1-6 passing for 16 yards, had 3 Fumbles and 1 Interception which all 4 turnovers turned into points for the miners.
Final Thoughts: Big Big Win against a very tough Lake Village Beaver team, and perhaps a bigger game next week as the Rison Wildcats come to bauxite to play the miners.
As for the Lake Village Beavers, their at home next week against the Cameden-Harmony Grove Hornets.
